Ordering Goods

Any order placed by you in the manner described in this site is an offer by you to purchase a particular product or service for the price (including the delivery and other charges) specified on this site at the time you place your order. You acknowledge that, by placing your order, you are agreeing to pay for and accept delivery of the goods ordered unless you ask us to cancel that order, and we send you written confirmation of the cancellation, prior to the goods being dispatched to you.

Consumables Plus may change the prices published on this website at any time. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of prices and information displayed on the Consumables Plus website, Consumables Plus reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason, including, without limitation, the unavailability of any product, an error in the price or the product description posted on this site, or an error in your order. We may require additional verification or information before accepting any order.

We only accept orders from within mainland Australia and Tasmania. Within this area, our policies as to delivery and returns apply as set out in these Terms of Use.

Payment

We accept Matercard, Visa, Bankcard, Diners & AMEX through a secure payment gateway.

The price payable for the goods ordered is the price specified on this site, plus any applicable shipping and handling charges. All prices are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST.

Delivery

Consumables Plus are committed to providing you with fast, efficient delivery across the country.

Delivery for all orders is a flat rate of $8.50 per order inclusive of GST for next business day shipping.

We pack all orders for despatch up until 2.30pm, unless out of stock. If goods are out of stock we will notify you ASAP and let you know an estimated delivery date and give you the option of waiting for your items or receiving a full refund.

We despatch your order directly from the warehouse and it is delivered by courier. If you order on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday, or Monday to Friday after 2.30pm AEST, your order will be despatched next business day.

After despatch, deliveries arrive next business day to all cities and some regional centres. Remote areas arrive 2 or 3 days later.

Sorry, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes or RMBs.

Deliveries can only be made where a signature to verify the delivery can be obtained. We understand that at times this would be difficult but it is necessary to protect the goods you have ordered, and to verify to us that you have received your products. The best addresses are where someone is home between 7am and 6pm weekdays, or a business address which is open during normal business hours. Usually if delivery cannot be made, couriers will leave a card to arrange another delivery time but this cannot be taken for granted. If delivery cannot be made you will be responsible for any delivery fees incurred even though you may not receive the item, so make sure someone is available to sign.

Returns Policy

In accordance with your statutory rights required by law, with proof of purchase, a refund may be obtained if the product is defective, unfit for purpose or does not match the description or sample.

There are 2 different types of returns, faulty goods and incorrectly ordered goods.

If you order incorrect goods we are happy to take them back with just a few conditions:

  1. Please contact us first to obtain a Return Authorisation Number. Returned goods cannot be accepted without a Consumables Plus Return Authorisation Number.
  2. Incorrectly ordered goods must be returned in original packaging which is still intact. We cannot accept any incorrectly ordered goods which have been opened or if the packaging is damaged or defaced in any way. Before opening the package please check that goods are suitable for the purpose they were purchased for. (For example, check the package of a cartridge to make sure the cartridge fits your printer.) If you are not at all sure feel free to contact us as sometimes certain cartridges are compatible with several different brands of machine.
  3. When returning incorrectly ordered goods please pack them in another box so that the original packaging will not be damaged by stickers, courier handling etc.
  4. It is your responsibility to pay the freight charges to the Consumables Plus warehouse. It is the customers responsibility to ensure they have a proof of delivery for goods returned to us. Goods that are shipped freight on or receiver to pay will be rejected at goods inwards in our warehouse, leaving the courier responsible.
  5. Return Authorisations are only valid for 14 days.
  6. All incorrectly ordered goods returned to Consumables Plus will incur a 15% restocking fee.

Faulty goods can be returned with these conditions:

  1. Please contact us first to obtain a Return Authorisation Number. Returned goods cannot be accepted without a Consumables Plus Return Authorisation Number.
  2. As a rule we do not give credits for returns where the goods are over 3 months old from the invoice date. This is due to manufacturer’s restraints, not our wishes. Exceptions are made for some products where we have specific latitude given to us by the manufacturer of the product.
  3. Laser or copier returns cannot and will not be processed without printed pages from the cartridge in question. There will be no exceptions as we are unable to obtain credits without these.
  4. Most cartridges have to be over a minimum weight before we can accept them for return.
  5. If the product has been refilled or tampered with in any way, the credit will be rejected.
  6. All cartridges must be sealed and secured to ensure they do not leak or get lost in transit.
  7. It is your responsibility to pay the freight charges to the Consumables Plus warehouse. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have a proof of delivery for goods returned to us. Goods that are shipped freight on or receiver to pay will be rejected at goods inwards in our warehouse, leaving the courier responsible.
  8. Return Authorisations are only valid for 14 days.
  9. In the case of cartridges: Once we have received the cartridges, we will then evaluate them and contact you to advise the result.
  10. We are sympathetic when it comes to returns and will consider all requests for returns which do not meet these criteria on a case by case basis.

To return goods, follow the rules below:

  • Please refer to our Returns Policy (above) before filling out Return Authorisation Number request form.
  • A copy of the RA form issued is to be attached to returned goods (along with a sample of faulty print for laser and copier cartridges), or goods will be returned upon arrival. Laser and copier returns cannot be processed without a sample of print. No exceptions.
  • All incorrectly ordered goods returns must be unopened and in saleable condition otherwise credit may be rejected.
  • If the product has been refilled or tampered with in any way it will be rejected.
  • Seal and secure all goods to ensure unbroken arrival without leakage or loss in transit.
  • A 20% restocking fee will apply to goods being returned where original fault of supply lay not with Consumables Plus.
  • Faulty product is credited only, and not replaced.

Freight on return goods will not be paid by Consumables Plus.

Title and Risk

Title to the goods purchased on this site does not pass from Consumables Plus to you until we have received payment in full for the goods. All risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.

Disclaimer of Warranty

Consumables Plus is providing this site and its contents on an “as is” basis and use of this site is at your own risk. The content is believed to be accurate, complete, current and reliable at the date the information was placed on the site.

None of Consumables Plus, its related companies, affiliates, licensors or licensees, nor any of their respective directors, officers, employees or agents, makes any representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, currency or reliability of the information contained on this site (including in relation to any products or services). To the extent permitted by law, including any non-excusable statutory obligations, none of them will be liable or responsible in any way (including in negligence) for errors in, or omissions from, the information contained on this site.

To the extent permitted by law, Consumables Plus expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) implied warranties or conditions of merchantability or fitness for purpose.

 

Approval to Link to this Website

(a) Consumables Plus encourages linking to the Consumables Plus home page by any person or organisation similarly involved in e-commerce or involved in the supply of goods to Consumables Plus.

 

(b) Should a person, corporation or other entity seek to link to this Website either directly or from within a frameset, please click here to send an email for approval.

 

(c) Consumables Plus may at its absolute discretion approve or reject a request to link made in accordance with paragraph (b).

 

(d) A link from a website to this Website must not be established unless Consumables Plus has approved a request under paragraph (c).

 

Limitation of liability

Our total liability to you (if any) in connection with this site, or with these Terms of Use or any goods or services supplied under them, will be limited, at our election, to:

  • in the case of information or services supplied or offered by us - the re-supply of the information or services or payment of the cost of doing this;
  • in the case of goods supplied or offered by us – repair or replacement of the goods, supply of equivalent goods, or payment of the cost of doing this; or
  • the amount paid by you (if any)

Indemnity

You indemnify us, our related companies, affiliates, licensors and licensees, and our respective directors, officers, employees and agents, from and against all actions, suits, claims, demands, liabilities, costs, expenses, loss and damage (including legal fees on a full indemnity basis) incurred or suffered, or likely to be incurred or suffered, by you as a direct or indirect consequence of using this site.

 

Rights we cannot exclude

The above disclaimer, liability limitation and indemnity do not exclude any rights which by law may not be excluded.

 

Security Policy

Your security is our primary concern. To ensure safe shopping, we use 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption security, which is the highest level of security available today for secure e-commerce transactions. All pages containing your personal information, including credit card numbers, name, and address are encrypted while in transit. That means it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. SSL encryption makes shopping on the Internet the safest way to use your credit card. It is much safer than making a purchase in a store or charging your dinner in a restaurant.
